About you
What’s no longer working for you? What do you want more of? Perhaps you’re here because you’ve been asking yourself these questions and you’re struggling to find your answers. Maybe something just feels…off, and you would like help to untangle what that is.
I work with people who feel that they have lost themselves, or they are not sure who they are anymore. This often happens around big life changes, when life can feel unstable. Sometimes, we just need someone to listen whilst we unpack our thoughts.
Drop me an email and together we can explore these kinds of questions and begin curating a life that feels more aligned with who you really are.
live the life you want
About me
I’m Lorna, I’m a working class Black therapist who grew up on a council estate in Manchester. I have been told that I am too much and equally, that I’m not enough. I know what it’s like not to fit in. Maybe you’re feeling this too..?
I am a person-centred therapist, which means I don’t offer quick fixes or tell you what to do. Instead, I will listen, without judgement and I will gently challenge the thoughts and beliefs that may be holding you back.
I hold a post graduate diploma in counselling & psychotherapy from the University of Salford. I have also completed further training in domestic abuse counselling and I have worked with clients at the LGBT Foundation.
My hope is that you’ll be empowered to grow in ways that matter to you. For you to feel supported and safe enough to explore your fears and desires and also, to reconnect with things that are fun to you, the things that make you feel alive (thank you Esther Perel for this important point!)
Life can be hard but you don't have to do it alone.
Get in touch let's see if we can work through this together.
